Drive Bys in Louisville

What a weekend we had playing in Louisville! We enjoyed the atmosphere of downtown living, took in the fireworks by the river, and took our time learning about another fine city.

My husband was good at playing along, and drove very slowly so that I could snap a few shots of the beautiful old homes around the university area.

The flags were very appropriate for the 4th of July weekend.IMG_2940    We found some great drive bys on the other side of Louisville as well. The city was full of beautiful places that had my camera buzzing!

And how could we go to Louisville and not get shots of these?

Then we played by the river. We had a bit of rain, but the temperature was perfect.

Thanks for coming along with me to Louisville!

Last week was sort of a blur with the passing of my grandmother and this trip came at a great time. Thank you all so much for your kind words about my wonderful Abuela. She will be missed.

With love,

~Misti

Hi Misti! Great to have you back. Sound like you had a wonderful weekend with your family. Oh that old architecture... funny how we can't seem to do that anymore... with all our advance materials and technologies... but they guys with the rock hammer, wooden pegs and a chisel managed to. I LOVE your "bridge holder"... very fun! ... Miss Tamara
