Hi everyone. So glad you stopped by!
I love signs and decor with writing. Signs usually make great conversation starters. I have shown this before, but it’s funny to watch our friends stare and try to figure out what the sign reads.
My mother has given me several signs…. Finally had to ask her to stop… so we wouldn’t get accused of sign overkill.
I am too lazy to climb up there and take down my bad greenery…
The quote on this one is perfect for my house:
“The most wasted of all days is one without laughter”
Some are displayed all the time, and one gets hidden away until she comes for a visit. Shhhhh… don’t tell her. She doesn’t read my blog, so that’s what she gets… {smile}
Sorry, that is just so mean, with Mother’s day coming up and all… but it’s not my style. She said, since she gave me the crazy spelling of MISTI with an “I” she feels the need to have things made for me with the correct spelling. Too cute!
My son gave me this one years ago, when he was tiny! He knows his mama so well.
My mother laughed for a week when she saw this one~
This sign is my very favorite-and my first! I have a very tall ceiling in the family room, with the dining room connected. I wanted something over that doorway, and when I spotted this sign at one of my favorite country stores, I knew it was coming home with me just for this very spot. Let me also give you a close-up so that you can actually read it..
“Be it ever so humble there’s no place like home” Made out of scrap barn wood. How could I pass it up? Oh, and it was bought with birthday money from my oh-so-sweet mother in law.
It is one of my favorite things in the entire house!
Kid’s Space Signs
The boys are huge into skateboarding!
I had this “skateboard” cornice made for one of my boys. I painted this to match my son’s real board.
And my favorite thing upstairs in the boy zone is…
Sorry, I am sure you are really sick of my signs already, but I promise they are so spread out, and are hardly noticeable!
This one is in my basement with the rest of my “store”. I just cut the grass…I am exhausted, so I am trying to remember this…
Be sure to visit with my friends who leave a link! Thanks for playing along.
I am also linking up to Julia at Hooked on Houses for Hooked on Fridays! What are you hooked on?

These are so cute...I have to tell you, I saw a sign recently that said "My Husband Says I Never Listen to Him...At Least I Think That's What He Said." Soooo cute. You've inspired me. I have an idea. (How often do we all say that while blogging...?? Ha!) Nice post.
Lots of great signs! I love signs too, there is one on its way to me now and I'm super excited.
Have a great weekend!

Signs are cool, and they come in all shapes and sizes with all kinds of sayings. Of course, being me, I love all the beach signs.
I just wanted to say thank you for stopping by "The Zoo". I too love signs and pretty much anything involving typography or numbers.
That Laundry sign, yeah that should definetly be in my laundry room. Believe me, my husband would agree. ;)
Have a great weekend!

Hi Misti,
Thanks for having the sign party. I love linky parties!! This one should be really fun. I think there are so many great signs out there and we all have atleast one right? I can't wait to see all the great posts.

Ah I love all these signs! I am coveting your coffee one and the HOME one especially. Great ideas!
You have some great signs! That was fun. I didnt think I had any til I looked around and came up with quite a few. Thanks friend!
You do have a lot of signs, but they're all fun :-) I can totally relate to the laundry one!! And the "son up/son down" one is clever :-)

I've been wanting a few signs for my house, but you'll never believe that I do not have 1! I am making a sign for my friend right now. BTW, thank you for always leaving such nice and thoughtful blog comments. :)
OK, my sign is posted. Thanks for inspiring.
I have two sisters-in-law that are sign queens. We're talking dozens of signs around each of their homes. I have signs, but I can't hold a candle to my sisters! They sure are fun to read though!
I had to come to the party too!
"Quityerbellyaching" is my favorite! I am in the process of making reverse-window signs, so I'll have to play on your next party!
HI, Misti, I just added my old LR post with my wall words that were newly added. I've got a few more signs too, but just decided to do that one.
And WOW, you do have a lot of signs. Got me beat on that one!
You have all these signs in your home? I'm so impressed! I love the Rock/Paper/Scissors Invitational one.
Right now I'm working up courage to get my first sign (woohoo!). I've seen one that can be made with the latitude/longitude co-ordinates of our house on it. Since it's kinda scientific, even Beloved Husband seems OK with this plan!
Hi...(and thanks for visiting me again!) Yes, the "chick" aspect is what sold me. Us women are rising to the top, even out in the waves! Thanks a bunch.
I love signs and yet i dont have one, i do however have wall talk, will that count?...lol you have so many neat, funny signs, so much fun
hugs

Hi Misti :)

I came by to wish you a very Happy Mother's Day :)
(((hugs)))

I love signs too! Hobby Lobby has a huge amount of them...that place is trouble! My favorite sign in my house says "Home Is Where The Dog Is". Oh wait, and then I have a cut one in my fancy bathroom that says "Happily Ever After" ;-)
More brilliance! Time to go back through ALL those 'email forwards' I can't seem to rid myself of... There had to be a reward in there somewhere! Does everyone have at least ONE of 'those' email buddies? I have yet to find a single idea here that didn't make me wonder, "Why didn't I think of that?!"
