This great project came in the mail this week, with a subscription offer to Better Homes & Gardens Do it Yourself magazine. It showed a few great ideas, and I wanted to share this one with you.
Even had the instructions handy on the back.
Not sure why it hasn’t crossed my mind, but, there is a brand new coffee mill about a mile from my house… I really want some burlap coffee bags! I will be paying them a little visit this week… think I can ask really sweet in my best southern drawl?
On another note, thanks for stopping by my Childhood Bedrooms party, I had the best time reading all of your comments. They had me rolling in laughter! Glad to know so many of you remembered Rex Smith, and everyone knew Shaun Cassidy, a few of you reminded me of the old satin Shaun Cassidy jacket! I was cool, I wore it everywhere. I love the coffee sak headboard! I found a coffee sak at a thrift store, and was so excited to make a bulletin board. It is so cozy to have it in a bedroom. I love this!
Now how cute is that??? Just got my BH&G magazine, and can't wait to see what cute ides it has--and yummy recipes!!

What a fun idea. I've seen those coffee bags stretched over canvas for kitchen art, but I've never seen them used in such a unique way for a headboard. Great way to recycle!
