Featured Store: Scottsdale Farms

Studio M has been out and about again, ready to share with you another fabulous decor showroom. This week we will take a (partial) tour of Scottsdale Farms Landscape Co. and Nursery. Scottsdale opened it's doors in 1982 by Luca and Kathy Gianturco. This excerpt was taken from their website:

"While visiting Scottsdale Farms you can listen to classical music as you stroll through the hardwood forest, relax by one of the waterfalls or enjoy the unique selection of home decor and beautiful gifts and garden accessories in the 12,000 square foot authentic New England style, timberframe barn."

As you drive into this massive place, your eyes go first to the unique topiaries, waterfalls and, of course, trees and masses of plant life...but then you enter the barn...

The barn is an enormous structure with ceilings reaching fifty feet high at the cupola. It holds some of the most unique home decor and gifts. I have a small sampling, O.K. I have tons of pictures, to share. Today's tour will only include the indoor decor section. To understand the magnitude of this magical place you must stop in for a visit.

Now--while you are touring with me, imagine yourself sipping a hot cup of coffee and having a gourmet sandwich from their in-house bistro called Bella Luna Cafe. That's right, you can have lunch or a cup of joe while you shop...my kind of store!

I would love to have this red buffet in the dining room.

Candlesticks are not always just for candles...

No country store is complete without the perfect selection of bird houses.

Custom wreaths and floral arrangements...yes, those are birchwood canoes.

Oh...to have this flower arranging station in my home...grrrrr...

Beautiful flowers blooming inside and out...

My Forsythia is blooming, how about yours?

Thank you so much for visiting me again, and for sharing yet another fabulous store in our community. Scottsdale Farms is located in Alpharetta Georgia, stop by if you are in the area and tell them Misti sent you!

Are your eyes tired from all of the brilliant color and fabulous decor? You want to go shop now don't you? Grab a shopping basket for me, would ya!

Just one more... I long for this piece every time I visit. I may have to build another room for it, but one day... Have a great week!

Oh, I *heart* that store! Wish it were closer to me! I think I'd just curl up in a corner on a soft, cushy spot and watch the world go by.

WOW!! Looks like dreamland! I'm not sure I'd dare go in there for fear of neck (twisting) and jaw (dropping) injuries!! If I ever get to visit the area, I will build my itinerary around a stop
there... Injuries or not! ... Tamara :-)
